Carla Wilson, Owner and Team Leader, Certified Virtual Assistant, Virtual Events Specialist
Prior to starting Wilson Virtual Assistants in 2003, I spent 20 years managing the businesses of and learning entrepreneurship from leaders in the Sales & Marketing, Security and Real Estate fields. In the fall of 2009, I re-discovered my passion for audio and video technologies (I have a degree in Sound Recording Technology after all), and realized that many business people don’t have the time to invest in learning multimedia technologies for use in their marketing. A new service offering was imagined!
As a Virtual Events Specialist, I consult with small business owners and internet marketers to help them launch their next teleseminar or webinar. My Audio Engineering background provides added value to my clients as I own professional equipment and a studio in my home.
I hold the Certified Virtual Assistant (CVA), EthicsChecktm, and Certified Real Estate Support Specialist designations from the International Virtual Assistants Association™ (IVAA), where I currently serve on the Board of Directors as the Certification Director. I also proudly served my regional trade association, Delaware Valley Virtual Assistants Association (DVVAA) as Secretary and President. When not working on my business, I enjoy cooking, yoga, running, reading, gardening, and playing music with my husband and son. In July 2009, I traveled with team member, Caroline Wright, to the United Kingdom to complete the 190-mile Coast-to-Coast Walk. I live in Downingtown, Chester County, PA, the suburbs of Philadelphia.
